Synopsis
In 1837, Russian poet Alexander Pushkin was imprisoned under Jar Nicholas. But nothing can stop his free hand writing of poetry, drama and freedom. So the emperor had to adopt another way. Natalia Ganacharva, Pushkin’s wife, is deeply in love with Georges Dantes, the emperor’s general. This message was broadcast throughout the city of Moscow. A prisoner plagued by reproach, Pushkin calls for a duel with Dantes in his thirst for freedom. An enraged Pushkin fought a duel on the Black River on January 27, 1837 without any helpers. Pushkin, the libertarian poet, the father of Russian literature, died at the age of 38 due to the conspiracy of the state, the crime of writing in a free language, and the crime of not obeying the emperor and the state.
The present time is the right time to produce this drama, when the current ruler has issued a decree that “if he has a pen in his hand, he is a Maoist, a traitor”.
